Teresa Garland, MD

Dr. Garland was born and raised in Dallas, Texas.  She received her undergraduate degree from Texas Tech University, graduating summa cum laude with a BA in Chemistry in 1976.  She attended Southwestern Medical School in Dallas, Texas, graduating in 1980 and qualifying for the Alpha Omega Medical Honor Society.  Dr. Garland completed her residency in anesthesia in 1983 at the Oregon Health Sciences University in Portland, Oregon.  She was as assistant professor of anesthesiology at the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio, Texas from 1983 to 1986.  She has been in private practice anesthesiology since 1986, first in Paris, Texas from 1986 to 1991 and in Missoula since 1991.  Dr. Garland has been with Missoula Anesthesiology, P.C. since 1997.
